The year 2025 was a period of consolidation and expansion for Project Bag Association, with a strong focus on environmental education, human–wildlife coexistence, and sustainable development in the Ciuc Basin.

Through programs implemented in schools, camps, and visitor centres, more than 2,500 children and young people took part in experiential learning activities focused on nature, biodiversity, and environmental protection. The MobilCave program brought education on human–bear coexistence directly into schools.

The TusnadEcoBear initiative demonstrated the effectiveness of a model based on education, prevention, and cooperation, significantly reducing bear-related emergency calls and almost eliminating material damage. At the same time, the Băile Tușnad and Surroundings ecotourism destination continued to develop through new tourism products, educational activities, and strategic partnerships.

The results confirm that sustainable solutions are built through cooperation, education, and community involvement.
